Hmm, i sigh up being the volunteer since I just arrive here last yr.
But today is my first time to be the volunteer for Henry Art Gallery.
Henry Art Gallery is located in UW, and it's my first time to enter there, too!
Hehe, it also makes me think of being a volunteer w/ Chienchien at the Dog Festival held by 流浪動物之家.
Really a long time ago when i was still in NCCU BA. :)
And kinda nervous cuz i dont know if i can really do them a favor using my poor english.
There is a "Kids play date" held by the gallery today.
It's free admission for all families and kids.
Last time when they held the similar event, there were abt 300 ppl visiting the gallery while the gallery just opened.
Quite a mess then. So they want some volunteers assisting the security.
But surprisingly, ppl arent so many as their expectation.
Staff there say the PR might not be well-spread. And some art classes charge fee this time, so it appeals less ppl to sign up.
So so so....
Being a volunteer isnt much fun this time.
All i hv to do is reminding "no running and no touch" to those naughty kids.
But...there r not many dangerous kids, either-_-
Thus, most of the time all five volunteers are quite bored.
Staffs there might hv the same feeling, i guess. :p
However, their current exhibitions r quite cool!
Since there is no phorographing in the gallery, either.

)Originally, we should be there from 11-3; but we volunteers r able to leave at 2, or even earlier.
Well, that's still good cuz i could hv spare time walking to Whole Foods for their summer taste fest!
And it should be a meaningful Sat. for me in seattle.:)
