Wallingford Kiddie Parade is one of the SEAFAIR 2006 events.
Kids would dress in costume, like angels, pirates, hawaii ladies, just like in the halloween season.
According to SEAFAIR's website (www.seafair.com), SEAFAIR is Seattle's' traditional and the most important summer festival. A series of month-long events that brings an entire community together in celebration. It has lasted for 56 yrs. Community events, parades, Miss SEAFAIR, the Navy and Coast Guard, amateur athletics, airplanes, boat racing.....are held all over Seattle during this month.
I goto this parade by myself cuz i know no one would hv interests in kid stuffs.
Hehehe, I like seeing kids here cuz they always behave cutely and their clothes are always prettier :p.
Well, my good frnds should know that i like kids only on the premise that kids arent too noisy, not screaming all the time, and.... not my own children.....:p

To be honest, i really enjoy this sort of community and family atmosphere. On the weekend, seeing so many families bring their kids sitting beside the streets watching the performance, it makes me so so warm.
This is the leisure experience i seldom hv in taiwan.
These two moms just stood beside me and chatted with each other while they hv their own child sitting on their shoulders.
It made me thinkin' abt my childhood.
小時候，我綁著一個沖天炮，被媽媽抱著；May綁著兩個可愛揪揪，被三姨抱著，忘了在哪，我們四個人照了一張像這樣可愛的相片。
每次看到照片，我總是會暗自抱怨媽媽的手很不巧，平平都是女生，我就只有一個怎樣看來都是男生造型的沖天炮
；而May的兩個揪揪，就是標準惹人喜愛的女娃兒造型。所以從前要是可以到台北找三姨一家人玩，我總愛纏著阿姨，要她也幫我綁頭髮，尤其是綁個May和Emi一樣系列的造型，弄得就像三姊妹一樣，這總是我最快樂的時光。記得偶爾我也會跟媽媽念，妳們感情這麼好，怎麼不跟三阿姨多學一點呢?可是媽媽也會耍賴地說:「我的手就是姊妹裡最不巧的啦!-_-天份問題!!」
