I visited this cafe in this early July. And now I live rite next to this small cafe...:) near 50th st and u-way.
The reason i wanna goto this cafe is cuz its name.
"Star Life on the Oasis"...sounds impressive to me...:)
The handmade decoration makes its outward appearance unique and appealing.
The cute description, "a bright butter-yellow space ", from Seattle PI just totally displays in the above rite pic.
I like this sort of analogy very much. Cute, vivid, and easy-to-imagine.
Last time on HGTV, they also use "Tiffany-blue" to describe a room's painting.
Sounds really charming and just exactly hit that color!
In the sunny summer days, ppl will sit quietly and enjoy their own coffee and books on the outdoor deck.
Chatting is kinda rare here. Customers here tend to focus on their own tasks.
Should be a cool place to get rid of lots noisy students...:p
In such a peaceful environment, i spent some time working on my blog...:)
Also the one-time refill made me stay longer...
Its most difference from other cafe house is that it shares a building w/ the Grand Illusion Cinema,
From the cinema's website, it is said to be the longest running independent films in the city, and has become a landmark of the film community.
Non-profit film arts organization, the Northwest Film Forum, saved the theater from closure in 1997, remodeled it, and has presented literally hundreds of cinema classics and rarities here.
Hmm.....it's pity that 真善美戲院 doesn't hv such a good luck. It always like a undesirable ball kicked among each party....
The pic below is the front door and outdoor deck.
Hand painting makes the place more intimate.
And since im its neighbor now, hope i can visit here more often...:)
